I am influenced by all the great rock and blues and classical players, from the 20th century to present time. And I would be lying if it didn't include rock and pop radio formats. As a session guitarist, I love using my guitar to create new sounds and short "ear-worm" melodies that stick around. Fees conform to guidelines established by the Canadian Federation of Musicians.
I use Logic Pro, ProTools and GarageBand to arrange and compose and mix. While I love starting with a riff, I sometimes start with a drum beat and build using proven formulas for arranging music, two to three chords that are constucted around an intro, verse, chorus and bridge, etc.).
I am open to working with others to refine ideas and produce great music future generations can enjoy.
